Winter is a wonderful time to take a walk in the outdoors! All sorts of wildlife leave a maze of tracks in the snow and are even easier to spot this time of year without leaves to obscure the view. Winter also provides a good opportunity to see what birds live in the neighborhood. By putting up a birdfeeder you can attract a variety of birds who spend their winters here in New York like Cardinals and Dark-eyed Juncos. And, where there are birdfeeders there are squirrels, who provide great entertainment as they attempt to reach the birdseed!
